KIM (SE)

KIM (SE). The rock duo KIM was formed in the middle of the covid pandemic and consists of Rickard Lindgren and Carl Gränsmark. With influences from everything from Korn, Kanye West, Kent and Skrillex, the music makes itself known with a boundary-breaking and dynamic sound.

The debut single ”5G model” is an attempt to portray the generation of its time with critical eyes on the naive belief that emanates from social media. “Do you have everything you need? Is there anything you need?” or are you arbitrarily happy to do like everyone else by following the currents that are thought to make a difference?

Later this fall, an EP will be released that takes on the theme of the 5G model. All the songs have been written at the same time and intertwine, they are not stories in themselves but more like keywords that together form a social realist critique.
