Per Vikström comes from a long career in the music industry. In his role as manager, producer and tour manager, he has over the years worked with artists such as Mariah Carey, Hall & Oates, Frank Zappa, and spent over 20 years on tour, including 10 years as TM for Meshuggah (Ozzy, System of a Down) and has reached great international success with the Swedish indie band Peter Bjorn and John and their hit ”Young Folks”, as well as several other acts including The Radio Dept., Loney Dear and Nicolai Dunger. Described as a visionary with a skillset in connecting people and making long-term projects come to fruition and reach their goals. Per has an extensive international network and up-to-date sensibility in what’s currently trending. He possesses extensive knowledge in go to market strategy and launching projects and has contributed marketing concepts visible all the way up to Super Bowl commercials in the USA. Seeing the challenges of the everchanging music business, and the struggle for artists and smaller businesses to make money and survive in the current digital landscape is his reason and driving force behind making his latest venture Anekdote a reality. Together with co-founder, long-time friend and tech wizard Susanna Berggren they have developed the fastest, cheapest and easiest way for anyone to build their own mobile apps.
