TRISTAN HUNT (UK)

Tristan Hunt is a certified Transformational Coach with specialist ADHD training and over 20 years of music business experience. He coaches music artists and music industry professionals who have ADHD. Tristan has ADHD, dyslexia, and dyscalculia. 

Tristan is part of Sony Music UK’s in-house Coaching Pool. He was one of 50 music industry professionals selected to be a mentor by Help Musicians UK for the Ivor Novello Academy’s Mentoring Bank Pilot Programme in 2020. Tristan is a visiting speaker at Berklee College, Valencia, where he talks about mental Health in the music industry. He is an advisor for Brighton Music Conference, UK, where he has also spoken.

Tristan was involved with the Association For Electronic Music, the not-for-profit trade body of the electronic music industry, for almost ten years. He first joined as a member before being twice elected to serve on AFEM’s Executive Board. He stepped down in 2018 to become a Regional Manager in AFEM’s core team.

Tristan has spoken on mental health and neurodiversity in the music industry at over 20 music conferences worldwide including the ADE, Paris Electronic Week, and Most Wanted Music, Berlin. His mental health work has featured in numerous publications including DJ Mag, Mixmag, Billboard and the BBC. 

He holds an undergraduate degree from Southampton University, UK, a Master’s degree from Birkbeck College, University of London, a diploma in Transformational Coaching from Animas, UK, and specialist ADHD coach training at the Attention Deficit Disorder Coaching Academy (ADDCA), USA. He is a qualified mental health first aider and occasional DJ.
