The Magnettes (SE)

This pop-trio was founded in Pajala, Sweden and has crafted their own blend of electro-pop and riot grrrl punk. In 2015 they performed at SXSW in Austin, TX and signed with the label Digsin, where their debut album ”Ugly Youth” was released in 2017. Their single ”Young & Wild” premiered on prime-time TV and became the 10th most played Swedish song on Swedish radio. The Magnettes have been praised by sites and tastemakers like Earmilk, Perez Hilton, Popcrush and Elle Sweden and played on festivals like Eurosonic Noorderslag, Tallin Music Week, Golden Melody Awards and the world largest festival Summerfest opening for Kesha. Now they are putting together a new album 2021/22 where they started to release new singles.

That Girl With Dark Eyes (US)

That Girl With Dark Eyes (TGWDE for short) is the musical project of songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Tiffany Sotomayor. Often compared to artists like Prince and Robyn, her versatile song-writing and impeccable ear for melody, proves a promising artist capable of much more than we’ve yet to see. TGWDE first started her project in Barcelona, and now resides on the west coast of California.

Johnning (SE)

With an established career collaborating with artists and producers worldwide, Johnning has accumulated over 500 million streams, both with his originals and as a featured vocalist on other artists’ songs. After a year of writing, inspiration, and new collaborations, Johnning was recently awarded with a gold plaque in Sweden and Norway for his song ”Heroes Tonight.” The honor sparked the idea of writing his new EP called About Last Night. He has been hard at work for the last year, taking studio sessions nonstop to write the EP. After countless hours, Johnning established a new, more prominent, voice and sound that showcases his great talent, not only a vocalist but also as a songwriter and, most importantly, as an artist.

Francis Tuan (PL)

The songs of Francis Tuan are fulfilled with serenity because he considers joy to be the best rebellion. His music invites the listener for a journey to a different world, where unnecessary borders – also music borders – have been blurred. Here, guitar pop becomes the background for spiritual reflection, dance music has lyrics inspired by philosophy, and ethnic Vietnamese instruments harmonize with electronics. Listening to Francis Tuan’s music, you can imagine it is sunny outside, and people live in harmony with each other and with nature. Although this alternative reality seems a bit twisted, the most important thing for Francis is a good melody. His debut album ”Let’s Pretend” has been released in early 2020, accompanied by two successful singles: ”Borders” and ”First Mover”. 2021 will bring two more, with ”Come to the Water” being one of them. The – currently – four-piece band has already played in Sweden, Germany and Ukraine, as well on numerous Polish club and festival stages. Unfortunately, the lockdown cancelled the album tour but Francis managed to play a few online gigs broadcast on Trójka radio station, or as part of such projects as ”Dachy Wrocławia” (Roofs of Wrocław) and ”Garage Show” (You Tube), and Liverpool Sound City 2020.

Besides the guitar, Francis plays on Vietnamese instruments đàn nguyệt and đàn tỳ bà. In 2020, Francis Tuan was selected for the INES Talent program.

Agata Karczewska (PL)

Agata Karczewska is a Warsaw-based singer-songwriter who creates music that combines elements of American folk and country music. At the core of her musically minimalistic style, is her distinctive vocal and the warm sounds of her acoustic guitar. She is self-taught guitarist and vocalist and finds inspiration as well as the art of composition in the song writing traditions of her idols Elliott Smith and Bob Dylan.

Each song depicts a separate story, some born out of memories, others symbolising pop-culture or stories told. In March 2019, original material where Agata Karczewska sings about sin, sensitivity, and loneliness, was released on her debut LP, titled: I’m not good at having fun. The album was expertly produced by Marcin Bors, a famous Polish producer, engineer & musician. In January 2020, she won the SongwriterUniverse ”Best Song Of The Month” Contest, for her song Fool. In addition, she was named a promising breakthrough artist by prominent Polish radio station, Trojka.
