Norbert Putnam who was inducted into the Musicians Hall of Fame in 2019. Norbert Putnam has worked with artists such as Buffy Sainte-Marie, Kris Kristofferson, Jimmy Buffet,  Joan Baez, Dan Fogelberg, J.J. Cale, The Flying Burrito Brothers, Roy Orbison, Linda Ronstadt and more. He has played bass on 121 Elvis tracks. 
Norbert is a well-known and award winning producer who, among other things, produced the legendary song ”Margaritaville” with Jimmy Buffet. He was also part of the original Muscle Shoal’s Rhythm Section that recorded the first hit to come out the Shoals, “You Better Move On by Arthur Alexander. This record was a big hit in England and led The Beatles to personally request the rhythm section to appear on their very first live performance on American soil in Washington D.C.He moved to Nashville, Tennessee where he played on over 2,000 tracks and started a state in the art studio, Quadraphonic, on music row.
 
Today, Norbert Putnam and his wife Sheryl live in  Florence,  Alabama in Muscle Shoals where he remains active in the music industry.
